Ancient Roman Ruins and Festung Vitznau

Tuesday was an eventful day! First, we went to Agusta Raurica which is a Roman archaeological site and an open-air museum. I got to touch a rock wall built by the Romans. Yes, the romans. I can not even begin to tell you how muh that means to me.

After we explored Ancient Rome, we headed to WWII era Switzerland.

The GPS is set to take us the best route, and fortunatly for us, it thought the best route was a ferry across Lake Lucerne (Vierwaltstättersee.)

Festung Vitznau is a WWII era bunker built deep in to the Swiss Mountains. The tour guide was great, and even gave the tour in English.
